You get a point for each workout.
Swim 2000m
Cycle 20 miles
Run 5km or 30 min which ever is shorter. .
Weights 1 hour of work
Stretching 30 mins (Yoga doesn’t count … it’s hippy nonsense).
Turbo session 60 mins

2 points for 1 rest day a week … you can have more rest but score nil.

Bonus Points:
Swim (1500m min) & Bike (as above min) & Run (as above min) all in a day = 1
point.

Run over 10km / 50 min = 1 point, 1.5 hours = 2 points, 2.5 hours = 3 points, 3
hours = 4 points. Any run off the bike above 30 mins scores 1 point plus the
relevant time/distance point.

Cycle over 40 miles = 1 point, 65 miles = 2 points, 90 miles = 3 points, +100
miles = 4 points.

Swim over 3000m = 1 point, 3800m = 2 points, 5000m = 3 points.

To get the extra 3 or more bonus points for any sport, by doing the distances
above, you must back it up the next day with a workout in the same sport to
reach a minimum of swim = 1000m, bike = 10 miles, run = 5km.

Intervals
Bike:-
10 x 60 secs flat out (you can do 2 x 5 of 60 secs) = 1 point or
5 reps of the same hill (must be at least 3 mins long) = 1 point.
2 lots of intervals = 2 points.

Running:-
10 x 60 secs flat out (you can do 2 x 5 of 60 secs) = 1 point or
5 reps flat out of the same hill (must be at least 1 min long) = 1 point.
2 lots of intervals = 2 points.

Swimming:- front crawl not pull buoy !!!
10 x 50m sprint = 1
8 x 100m sprint = 2
5 x 200m hard = 3

Bonus point for being sick part way through the session................ more points for Joe then.


Competing in a race or TT will getting the following bonus.

Run 5km = 2, 10km = 3, 13 mile = 5
Bike 10 mile TT = 2, 25 mile TT = 3, 50 mile TT = 4
Swim 400m TT = 1, 1500m = 2
Sprint tri = 3 points
Olympic tri = 5 points
½ Ironman = 7 points
Ironman = 10 points
Becoming World Champion = 20 points (Eddie is not allowed to compete in this section).


Group runs & rides & open water swims will attract big bonus points with King of Mountains (not the swim) & Sprints awarded 5, 3 & 1 (target to be decided on the day by admin).

Acts of selflessness in the face of exhaustion will be rewarded on a discretionary basis.
Acts of a un-sportsman like nature will lose you points as will arguing with admin.
Other amusing acts like drinking to excess and attempting to train the next day, falling off the bike at traffic lights etc will be rewarded.
Marks can also be awarded for sheer effort, giving blood etc as admin sees fit.

Any suggestions are welcome with the provision this is a fun competition. Only people invited to join in can play the game.

You'll have to be honest and declare your points scored, so we can have a league table.

The administration’s decision is final but he’s likely to cock up the scoring on a daily basis so check what you’ve done.
